Of course I count stick figures as drawing! Go Sticks! Go Sticks!
(I made a really stupid stick-figure web comic.
Glad you like it!
I remember in my Drawing 1 class, I was trying to draw a pine tree and it came out rather...un-pine tree-like. The instructor said to me "Well, it has a nice fur like texture to it." I said "Well, will we be drawing fur this semester?" Instructor: "Erm, that's Drawing 2." Heh. ;-) So, my drawing skills are not so great - I admire anyone who can.
Keep at it. It requires alot of practice and learning to look at things a certain way (have you learned about negative space yet?). But it's so rewarding to be able to express yourself (I found that my metier was the camera).
I got the rose from a book and copied the steps. I know nothing about negative space.
Glad you liked it!
Seriously, they're awesome.
